Fiat 500 Now in the USA

The new Fiat 500 is now in America. As you all may have seen this vehicle around in the state and maybe on campus in the past year. Fiat were doing a promotion of their car in 2009 here at Oakland University. Sales associates would drive through campus and park in the Hamlin circle at times and get the Fiat 500 name out there. The car was originally manufactured from 1957 to 1975 and the continued in 2007 with new new model. In order to meet the demands of the post war market which called for economy cars. The Fiat 500 is a 2 door vehicle, and 4 speed transmission. The car was designed by the Italian Car designer Dante Giacosa. Would you buy a Fiat 500? I would have to say that I like the old model as well of the Fiat 500. Just like I liked the old Mini. When i travel out of the country again, I will definably try getting a Fiat 500 to drive around over in another country.

Chevorlet Cruze vs Chrysler 200

Chevy Cruze is a new 2011 car that has just hit the market as well as the new 2011 Chrysler 200, which was introduced during the Super Bowl commercials. As you can see from the pictures above these car look just alike at first glance. Silver one is the Chrysler 200 and the Red car is a Chevy Cruze. Now why is it that these cars look the same and they are with different companies? Well just a little detail about about this is the the thing is that automotive companies are running out of ideas on how to design and style a vehicle. They have to end up using getting ideas and designs from other companies to style their vehicle. However, this surly involves contracts, and agreements between which ever two companies come to a conclusion on the decision. It's all about how can they make a vehicle attractive and attract customers to buy. Look at the pictures and see the similarities of these two vehicles.

My Drift In The Snow

So the picture of the car in the snow is a snow drift I did for fun in the snow. Drifting is a driving technique that have been around for years and This can be demonstrated by you the driver intentionally over steering, causing loss of traction in the rear wheels through turns, while maintaining vehicle control and a high exit speed. As you have probably seen the movie Fast and the Furious as where a lot of drifting takes place through out the film. The steps are simple.
Basically your main point is to make sure if you do this on the street, be aware of your surroundings.

1 Set your speed ( I usually do 30-40 mph)
2. Counter steer by while pulling up the hand brake

Only a few simple steps to go by. However I may share a few other tricks. It's fun and amazing. Rule number one just don't get caught by the nice police officers.
