Electric in, Gas Out: 2011 Focus Electric


Ford has come up with a new Focus. But wait, No gas needed. It's The first Focus Electric car. Ford Focus is set to be launched in just about 19 markets late this year in 2011. There is a one hundred mile range, five door hatchback that provides many features that make it an enticing EV package, including higher speed charging, highly customizable displays, and liquid cooled/heated batteries. The base MSRP of this electric car will be set to price at $ 30,000 with a estimated tax credit of $7,500. With this being ford's first electric vehicle, Ford believes that this will be a break through for ford topping them higher than they are in the market. However, there is in home installments required. This car can be plugged in standard wise into your home or garage for charge. Also available will be a smart phone application to control features of your Ford Focus Electric Car and keep track of your battery status on your car.
